Tornado-S MLRS Ensures Precision Hits on Drone-Resistant Military Targets

Shells fired from Russia’s Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) can reliably strike targets that are invulnerable to drones, including elements of bridge structures in the zone of the special military operation, according to a Telegram post by the state corporation Rostec.

Bridge Destroyed After Drone Strikes Failed

The company commented on a video posted by a military blogger. In the clip, Russian drones first targeted a bridge deployed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but only a Tornado-S shell caused significant damage. According to the report, “A 300-millimeter shell fired from tens of kilometers away hit the crossing precisely, without any deviation. As a result, the sturdy metal section of the bridge, capable of supporting military vehicles weighing up to 60 tons, split into two parts.”

Ongoing Use of MLRS in Donetsk Offensive

In October, military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny noted on Telegram that Russian forces continue their advance in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR), employing rocket artillery, particularly Tornado-S systems, to support offensive operations.
