Medical Tests of the Chinese Citizens Start in the Maritime Territory

On the markets in the Maritime Territory medical tests of the citizens of China have started with the aim of finding out persons with symptoms of atypical pneumonia. As the chief state sanitary doctor in the Maritime Territory said on Wednesday, these measures have a preventive character and are being taken not to allow the appearance of cases of atypical pneumonia in the Territory.

The test groups consist of doctors and members of the migration service and law enforcement bodies. Special attention during these tests will be paid to the presence of medical certificates and the observance of the timeframe of the stay in the territory of the Russian Federation.

The entry into the Maritime Territory will be limited for tourists and foreign workers from five provinces of China - Guangdong, Shaanxi, Sichuan and Guangxi, and also from Beijing and Hong Kong.

The sanitary authorities of the Maritime Territory also recommend to ban visits to these provinces by Maritime tourists.
