Gazprom Leader Predicts Losses If Oil Prices Drop

If oil prices on the world market drop down to ten dollars per barrel, Russian budget will lose 1.7 billion dollars. Such is the prognosis made in Urengoi by head of Gazprom gas company Alexei Miller during a meeting on prospects of development of Russian gas industry. During the meeting, among whose participants is Russian President Vladimir Putin, Alexei Miller compared prices of oil and of exported gas. Miller forecasts that if oil prices remain at the level of fifteen, gas will be sold for 90-95 dollars per 1000 cubic meters. Dropping oil prices down to ten dollars would reduce gas prices to 70-75 dollars.
