Ukraine to prompt war between Russia and NATO?

The threat of war between Russia and the West becomes more pressing. Such a statement was made by the former head of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Igor Ivanov, former German Minister of Defence Volker Rühe, as well as their colleagues from Great Britain, France, Spain, and Turkey. The stance of the officials is stated in the report of the research centre "European Leadership Network". Former Ministers call on Moscow and the NATO to assemble a special Council and work out a set of rules, which will be useful in case od sudden clashes and incidents between aircraft and vessels. Lately, the number of military exercises has increased both in the West and in Russia. One of the reasons is the Ukrainian crisis. And, as the officials claim, any "miscalculation can lead to the military confrontation".
