Justification of Nazism to entail criminal responsibility in Russia

Justification of Nazism should entail criminal responsibility in the Russian Federation, deputy of the State Duma Irina Yarovaya said. She proposed a special punishment for the rehabilitation of Nazism, denial of the results of the Nuremberg trials and the distribution of false information about the actions of the armies of the anti-Hitler coalition. 

The fine under the article will make up 500 thousand rubles ($15,600). Offenders may also face a prison term from 3 to 5 years.

Experts have already paid attention to the fact that the proposal from the deputy contained many vague statements that allow broad interpretations of all speeches and texts about the Great Patriotic War, and accordingly the punishment.
