The Ministry of Economic Development of the Nizhny Novgorod region has prepared a forecast for 2015. According to the report, work professions will enjoy a greater demand in the region. Before 2020, within the scope of the long-term program of development of productive forces, it is is planned to create more than 50,000 jobs. More than 28,000 of them will be created in the next two years.

The personnel capacity of the Nizhny Novgorod region was discussed at the meeting of the Coordinating Council, which was chaired by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Valery Shantsev. In particular, officials discussed the issues of development of the regional market of work specialties.

Since 2007, within the framework of the national project "Education," there have been nine industrial centers of education and training of qualified personnel created in the region. "These centers have all the tools required to train professionals in the fields corresponding to the priorities of industrial development," said Valery Shantsev. In modern centers, students can receive a qualification of the highest level.

More than 3,000 people have already been trained in the centers. "Almost all graduates go to work at the companies that act as partners with educational institutions. It's a win-win situation for educational institutions, business, and graduates themselves," the governor said.
