Lazarenko will answer for the stolen millions in America

Ex-PM of Ukraine Pavel Lazarenko will be judged in US. Such a decision was made by US law-enforcement agencies, General Prosecutor of Ukraine Mikhail Potebenko said. Now ex-PM is held in jail of San Francisco. Law-enforcement agencies of Ukraine, USA and Switzerland have proved he was guilty of state funds misappropriation and illegal outflow of capital, wash of money within a period of 1994-1999. American court accuses Pavel Lazarenko of wash of 114 million dollars. In Geneva the Ukrainian ex-PM was sentenced to 1,5 years of imprisonment and to 10,6 million Swiss francs of fine. It will be recalled that the climax of Lazarenko’s illegal activity fell at the same time when Chernomirdin’s government was in power.
