Sukhoi selects enterprise for manufacturing RRJ aircraft - 27 March, 2003

The corporation Sukhoi has decided to start manufacturing aircraft of the Russian Regional Jet (RRJ) family at the Novosibirsk aviation enterprise, Yury Chervakov, the head of the press service of Sukhoi, told RBC. The full-scale production of these jets is planned to be started in 2006. There will be three models in this family: RRJ 60, RRJ 75 and RRJ 95 that are designed for 60, 75 and 95 seats respectively.

The forecasted demand for these jets on the domestic and international markets is some 650 planes throughout 2013.
