Ford Sales in Russia Rise by 52.5% in January-September 2002 - 9 October, 2002

In January-September 2002 sales of Ford cars in Russia through official Ford Motor Company dealers rose by 52.5% in comparison to the same period last year. Sales for 2002 have so far reached 4,027 cars. According to the press office of 's Russian branch, dealers sold 1,826 Ford Focuses, 1,221 Mondeos, 383 Transits and 315 Mavericks in the first 9 months of 2002.

The press office also announced that sales of Fords through official dealers totaled 1,210 in the third quarter of 2002. The most popular models in July-September of this year were the Focus (451 sales), the Mondeo (366), the Transit (128) and the Maverick (124).
