Sunset on Pluto

New Horizons spaceprobe continues to send new photos of Pluto to the Earth. The planet still puzzles scientists with a variety of its landscape

New Horizons continues its mission. The spacecraft will then head fo other space objects in the Kuiper belt. The Kuiper belt is a region of the Solar System beyond the planets, extending from the orbit of Neptune (at 30 AU) to approximately 50 AU from the Sun. All of the collected data wukk be transmitted to planet Earth in March 2017

On the surface of Pluto, one can see mountains up to 3,500 meters high, as well as large deserts. Scientists believe that mountains were formed on Pluto 100 million years ago
