Man builds house of million shells in China

Xiao Yongsheng, 58, a local resident on Lingshan Island of east China's Shandong province, spent two years building a shell house

He decorated the outer walls and the roof with more than one million colorful shells he collected on the island, and from all over the world

The largest shell weighs as much as four kilos, while the smallest one is only three millimeters long

Xiao used this shell house as a museum, displaying the history of the island and the daily life of local fishermen
