Russia's Tatiana Totmianina and Maxim Marinin overcame recent physical ailments and took their first step toward a fifth straight continental pairs title Tuesday, leading after the short program at the &to=http://english.pravda.ru/sport/2002/08/09/34173.html' target=_blank>European Figure Skating Championships.
Totmianina and Marinin looked fine in their graceful program to the music of "Snowstorm," scoring 68.04 points to lead fellow Russians Maria Petrova and Alexei Tikhonov, who were next with 66.07.
