Thousands of Venezuelans marched through the capital Saturday to support &to=http://english.pravda.ru/world/2002/12/16/40816.html' target=_blank>President Hugo Chavez amid a diplomatic flap between Mexico and Venezuela that prompted both nations to withdraw their ambassadors last week.

Waving banners and chanting "Venezuela must be respected!" roughly 5,000 Chavez supporters marched almost 5 kilometers (3 miles) from a park in eastern Caracas to Miraflores Presidential Palace on the other side of the city.
