Pakistan presents condolences to the U.S. over disastrous hurricane Katrina

Pakistan forwarded condolences to the United States over the deaths and destruction caused by Hurricane.

"On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, and on my own behalf, I would like to convey deepest condolences to the bereaved families and sympathy to all those who have been affected by this terrible natural disaster," the message quoted Foreign Minister Khursheed Kasuri as saying.

His comments came a day after Pakistan offered to send doctors and paramedics to treat victims of Katrina, the AP reports.
