10 newcomers to be deported from Britain

British police detained 10 foreigners suspected of posing a threat to national security, the Home Office said. The detainees are expected to be deported from the U.K.

A spokeswoman for the Home Office refused to identify the 10 people or give any details of the threat they were believed to represent, the AP reports.
