'I was going to attack Israeli ships'. Suspected Syrian militant confesses to Turkish court

A suspected Syrian al-Qaida member appeared before a Turkish court and shouted in Turkish with an Arabic accent from a courthouse window that he was planning to attack Israeli ships docking on Turkey's coast.

"I have no regrets. I was going to attack Israeli ships. If they come, my friends will attack them," the man shouted before officials pulled him back and closed the window, the AP reports.
