4,000 observers to monitor Ukrainian presidential election

The Ukrainian Central Election Commission has registered 4,028 foreign observers who will monitor the presidential election in the republic scheduled for October 31. They represent foreign states and international organizations, Bogdan Pogrebennik, the chief consultant of the foreign relations department of the Central Election Commission, told RBC.

The most numerous delegations are from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Among observers are representatives of Slovakia, Russia, the USA, Poland, Japan, Georgia, Canada, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and others.
