Vladimir Putin declared to be for development of contacts between the judicial bodies of Russia and Thailand.

"Increasingly businesslike contacts which hold promise of good development have been shaping up between Russia and Thailand," the Russian president said opening his Wednesday meeting with president of the Supreme Court of Thailand Justice Atthaniti Distha-Amnarj.

"It seems that the development of contacts between the judicial institutions of Russia and Thailand is an important component of our cooperation," Putin noted.

He believes that it is very important "to build a legal basis of cooperation and naturally to form law-enforcement practice, which to a considerable extent depends on the activity of the judicial system."
