IAEA report on nuclear security in Iran kept confidential

The content of the report on Iran is strictly confidential and may not be disclosed, says the official statement by the Secretariat of the International Atomic Energy Agency circulated this Saturday in Vienna.

The document notes that the Report on the Nuclear Security of Iran prepared by IAEA Secretary-General Mohamed El Baradei jointly with the group of the IAEA experts has been sent to 35 IAEA member states, including the USA and Russia.

This report, as the statement says, was prepared on the eve of the session of the IAEA board of governors to take place in Vienna on June 16. One of the issues central to the session's agenda will be the nuclear security of Iran.
