Super Powers Cup Rugby Games against Chinese Team Postponed Due to Expansion of Atypical Pneumonia

Due to the expansion of atypical pneumonia all Super Powers Cup rugby games against the Chinese team have been postponed for an uncertain period. Besides China the teams from the USA, Japan and Russia participate in the Cup. The decision to postpone the games was made by the International Rugby Federation, the Krasnoyarsk department of the Russian Rugby Union disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent.

The Chinese team was scheduled to hold a game against the Russian team, which mainly consists of athletes from regional clubs, in Krasnoyarsk on June 28th. The Russian Rugby Union is positive, that the games against the Chinese team will be held before the end of this year, however the dates will be specified later.

The Russian team will play the next game within the frame of the Super Powers Cup against the Japanese team in Tokyo on May 25th.
