Weapons and explosives confiscated from two gunmen detained in Ingushetia

In the Republic of Ingushetia (the North Caucasus) officers of the Organised Crime Department of Ingushetia's Interior Ministry have detained two gunmen from whom they confiscated large amounts of weapons and explosives.

RIA Novosti learned from the Interior Ministry of Ingushetia on Wednesday that during the search of the detained men, three grenade-launchers and three rounds for them, an anti-personnel mine, 7 kilos of plastic explosives, two electric detonators, and 2 m of safety fuses were confiscated from them.

According to the police, both detained men are involved in several acts of terrorism against the federal forces. The law-enforcement bodies have opened a criminal case against the two men; investigations have been launched.
