Russian Foreign Minister Calls To Discuss The US NMD Plans

Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov has called upon the international community to actively join the discussion of the US plans to create a national missile defence system. "The plans of the United States to create a national missile defence system are not a subject of the dialogue only between Moscow and Washington; this problem must be broadly discussed also by the international community," pointed out Igor Ivanov, speaking in Delhi. The Russian side, he said, is ready for large-scale consultations, because the START and ABM problems concern the interests of the entire international community.
