Kuchma To Okay Yushchenko's Resignation
President Leonid Kuchma of Ukraine will sign a decree dealing with the resignation of Prime Minister Victor Yushchenko. According to Kuchma, the prime minister has stepped down; a relevant decree concerning Yushchenko's resignation will be signed in line with the Ukrainian Constitution, he added. As head of state, I cannot hail parliament's decision to sack the Cabinet, Kuchma said in conclusion.
