President Of Belarus Discusses Bilateral Relations With Head Of Chinese Parliament

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, currently on a visit in China, discussed on Monday bilateral relations and topical international issues with Li Peng, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. The RIA Novosti correspondent reports that during the meeting with the head of the Chinese parliament Lukashenko stressed that Minsk intends to continue strengthening bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic and inter-parliamentary spheres. Earlier the President of Belarus had talks with Mayor of Beijing Liu Qi. They discussed cooperation between the capitals of the two countries. Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Beijing at the invitation of PRC Chairman Jiang Zemin.
