Hungarian foreign ministry on growth of Russia's economy and Hungarian exports to Russia

The recent growth of Russia's economy and the shaping up of a solvent middle class is a prerequisite for raising the level of Hungarian export to Russia, said Istvan Tamas, expert of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, at a meeting with the press, reports the RIA Novosti correspondent. Tamas was commenting on the results of a conference held in Budapest discussing the possibility of expanding the country's trade with Russia and Belarus.

In the expert's opinion, concentrated activities in these direction is of "paramount importance" for Hungary. At present Hungarian businessmen are so far not fully using the possibilities on the Russian market, stressed Tamas. With the relevant financial support, Hungarian businessmen will soon be able to take part in modernizing the Russian food industry, noted the diplomat.
