Russian President Greets IAAF Conference

Russian President Vladimir Putin has sent his greetings to participants in a conference of the International Association of Athletics Federations /IAAF/ and the 17th congress of the European Athletic Association /EAA/. The letter of greetings reads in part that "combining entertainment and accessibility, athletics is duly called the queen of sports. I'm sure, the conference will have a positive impact on the development and popularisation of athletics both in Russia and in the whole world."
