Russia sees solution to the energy security problems of the Asia-Pacific region in laying oil and gas pipelines and power transmitting lines to China, Japan and the Korean peninsula. Russia's foreign minister Igor Ivanov said as much Thursday, following the meeting between foreign and trade ministers of the countries participating in the APEC economic cooperation forum.
