Macedonia's Economy Lost $575m In War Against Alabanian Rebels

Macedonia lost $575 million, or 20 percent of the country's gross domestic product, in damages over the period the country's national security forces battled Albanian rebels, the country's chamber of commerce announced Wednesday. Agriculture suffered the most heavily, with $148 million in losses. Metallurgy and electronic industry lost $66 million, tourism and transports, $32 million, and commerce, $93 million.
