On Wednesday morning the US aviation delivered six air strikes at Kabul. According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the strikes were delivered at the targets to the south east of the Afghan capital. The witnesses say that one of these targets was an old fortress which was used by Talibs as a hiding place. The strikes were delivered at a very high speed and low height, so that the Talibs had no time to open a return fire. As was reported by the Al Jazeera's Qatar television channel, for the first time the USA used an AS-130 aircraft in bombing Kabul. It showed live how it bombed the land targets. In the opinion of the correspondent of the TV station in Kabul, the latest air attacks are a prelude to the land operation of the US special task forces near the Afghan capital.
