Palestinians Shelled Gilo District Of Jerusalem Last Night

Throughout last night, residents of the Arab settlement of Beit Jala were shelling the Gilo District of Jerusalem. The Israelis opened return fire from tank guns and large-caliber machine-guns. No victims reported. Several apartments and automobiles were damaged in Gilo. A major skirmish also took place between the Israeli troops and Palestinians in the southern quarters of Tulkarem, a Palestinian city on the West Bank. As a result, three Palestinians were killed and five injured.
