Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Tony Blair as part of regular consultations with foreign leaders on coordinating the world community's counter-terrorism efforts, the president's press service told RIA Novosti Wednesday. According to the press service, the two leaders focused on the developments in Afghanistan, on the issues of Russian-British practical interaction connected with the anti-terrorist operation and on multilateral cooperation. They also discussed vital aspects of bilateral relations, plans of Russian-British contacts at different levels.
