Israel Decides To Withdraw Troops From Six Palestinian Towns

Under the pressure of the world community and several western countries, first of all, the USA, the so-called "narrow cabinet" including key Israeli ministers decided to withdraw troops from six Israeli towns on the West Bank of the Jordan river on Thursday night, the Israeli radio said. According to the radio, the troops' withdrawal can start on Saturday or even on Friday but on condition that the Palestinian National Authority meets the Israeli security demands. The requirements are the following: to extradite murderers of Tourism Minister Rehavam Ze'evi and to establish control over Palestinian radical military units committing terrorist acts against Israelis.
