Russian Orthodox Church Bishop Arrives In Vietnam

On Friday, Metropolitan of Smolensk and Kaliningrad Cyril, chairman of the department for external relations of the Russian Orthodox Church, arrives in Vietnam. As it has become known, the metropolitan will be received by the Vietnamese State Commission for Religious Affairs in Hanoi and meet with the chairman of Vietnam's Buddhist communities' organizational committee. He will also hold a service at the Russian embassy. The bishop from Moscow is due to meet the members of Protestant communities' council in the south of Vietnam and visit the Vungtau city, where a lot of Russian specialists work at the Vietsovpetro joint enterprise.
