Afghan Ambassador To Tajikistan: Northern Alliance Troops Take Kabul

The Northern Alliance troops took Kabul, Afghan Ambassador to Tajikistan Said Ibrahim Khikmat told RIA Novosti. According to the Ambassador, the troops under General Fahim's command entered Kabul from the north via Khairkhana pass and the Bagram Air Base. The Taliban fled Kabul in masse and headed for Kandahar on Monday already, Khikmat added.
