Afghan Embassy Denies Information About Seizure Of Kandahar Airport

The Afghan Embassy in Tajikistan denies all allegations that the Northern Alliance has seized Kandahar airport. According to Shamsulhaq Oriyenfar, the Second Secretary of the Embassy, Afghan officials have no such information yet. He said that Kandahar was the main base of the Taliban movement and international terrorists and that means that they will not surrender it without fighting.
