Putin Asks Bush To Russia

President Vladimir Putin invited US President George W. Bush to visit Russia whenever it suit him, and on whatever arrangement he would prefer, be it a state, routine or private visit, the Russian President said as the summiteers were addressing a joint news conference in the White House. Mr. Putin does not think his American counterpart can find a better time to go to Russia than early summer, with famous white nights in St. Petersburg, though Moscow, as federal capital, will be the only eligible venue for the official part of the visit.
