Leader Of So-called National Liberation Army Killed In Kosovo

Jazeer Shakiri, or "commander Odja" of the so-called National Liberation Army of the Albanian terrorists, which was fighting in Macedonia till September 26, was killed on Wednesday. This information was disclosed by the Macedonian capital's television with reference to reliable sources. Shakiri was seriously wounded in a shooting which followed a quarrel concerning money and died of received wounds in the hospital of the American base located in the Uroshevac town. According to the television, Albanians discovered that 50 million Swiss franks which had been collected abroad by Albanian diasporas to buy weapons, had disappeared. Commander Odja was charged with stealing 8 mln franks and other commanders demanded that he returned this sum. Shakiri was born in the Tanusevci village in Northern Macedonia. This is the very village where first armed clashes began between Albanian terrorists and the Macedonian security forces in February 2001. Some sources report that Shakiri's scope of responsibility was to send to Macedonia mujahedin who fought for the National Liberation Army near Tetovo, Kumanovo and Skopje.
