UN Experts to Inspect on Friday Three Iraqi Objects

UN experts will inspect on Friday three Iraqi objects. The objects, which will be inspected, are the warehouse and a pharmacy depository in Baghdad and a chemical enterprise situated nearby the Iraqi capital, the Iraqi Information Ministry press center reported.

Within the period of 6 weeks the UN experts have inspected 300 objects but found no signs of mass destruction weapons, any of its substantive components or programs for its production, Head of the UN Program on Iraqi Disarmament, General Husam Amin disclosed yesterday.

In the opinion of Husam Amin, the issues, which in accordance with Head of UNMOVIC Commission Hans Blix, who spoke yesterday at the UN Security Council session, are left open by the Iraqi declaration on arms, could be decided "in the course of the technical negotiations".

"Until recently we were asked no questions," he said. However, Baghdad "looks forward to any question, which will be positively considered," the General noted.
