At present Ukraine has become a labour force exporting country, said Yevgeny Medvedev, director of the institute of economic forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, at a round-table conference on problems and methods of forecasting the integration development of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, in Moscow on Thursday.

Yevgeny Medvedev said that according to different estimates, from 1.5 to 5 million Ukrainians are currently working abroad. About 600,000 people have left the Lvov Region alone. The average age of the migrants is 35-45 years.
