Georgia says it knows names of pilots involved in bombings

Georgia says it knows, from which airfields the airplanes that bombedGeorgia on August 23, 2002, had taken off, head of the GeorgianReconnaissance Department Avtandil Ioseliani told reporters. The officialwas quoted as saying those were Russian airfields in Mozdok and Armavir.Ioseliani pointed out the names of the pilots of these airplanes, whichexecuted bombings in Georgia, would be disclosed soon. The head of theGeorgian Reconnaissance Department said Russia was pilling in "additionaltroops" to the Georgian frontier without prior notification of the Georgianparty thereof. "This is a violation of international law", the officialsaid. .
