Georgian President urges Moscow to stop willfulness

Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze expressed serious concerns abouttoday's bombing of the Georgian territory leading to victims among peacefulpopulace. He stated that such incidents were "absolutely intolerable". "Iam calling on all Russians, including President Vladimir Putin, to stopthis willfulness, to stop hunting Georgian villages", Shevardnadze statedand pointed out that Russian political leaders should study this out and"restore order".According to Shevardnadze, such incidents "do not correspond to theinterests of such neighboring and brotherly countries as Russia andGeorgia".
