Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze expressed serious concerns abouttoday's bombing of the Georgian territory leading to victims among peacefulpopulace. He stated that such incidents were "absolutely intolerable". "Iam calling on all Russians, including President Vladimir Putin, to stopthis willfulness, to stop hunting Georgian villages", Shevardnadze statedand pointed out that Russian political leaders should study this out and"restore order".According to Shevardnadze, such incidents "do not correspond to theinterests of such neighboring and brotherly countries as Russia andGeorgia". He expressed hope that today's bombing of the Georgian territorywill be "the last one" and that "this will never be repeated in therelations between the two countries", the Black Sea Press news agencyreported..
