Russia and USA hold seminar on application of U.S. trade legislation to Russian exporters

The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Russia and the U.S. Department of Commerce held in Moscow on Monday a seminar on the questions of applying U.S. trade legislation to Russian exporters.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Russia Maxim Medvedkov stressed at the seminar that such a form of intercourse with the American colleagues was interesting and important considering the fact that the U.S. trade and, in particular, anti-dumping legislation is "one of the most clear and coherent in the world." U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Faryar Shirzad noted at the seminar that at the present time the administration of George Bush, Jr., pays great attention to the development of bilateral trade-economic relations, and the holding of the seminar should be viewed in precisely this context.
