According to the latest data, eleven out of the 16 bodies discovered in the area where the glacier descended in North Ossetia (North Caucasian republic) have been identified by now. RIA Novosti learned this from the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on Tuesday.

Altogether 135 people are considered to be missing, including 24 members of the filming crew of Sergei Bodrov, a prominent Russian film actor and director.

The press-service noted that 103 people have been evacuated from the emergency zone and 3,015 m of the Gizel-Karmadon road cleared.

Altogether 389 people, 91 units of equipment and a helicopter are taking part in the quest and rescue work.
