Delhi "utterly condemns" terrorist act in Moscow accompanied with hostage capture

Delhi "utterly denounces" the terrorist act in Moscow and the inhumane practice of capturing hostages, Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's message to Russian President Vladimir Putin, which the agency received on Friday, reads.

Delhi "watches the events developing around Moscow's theatre, where several hundred hostages were captured, with great concern," the message stresses.

"At this hour the Indian government and people are entirely solidary with those of the Russian Federation," the document reads. "India is familiar with similar eerie manifestations of terrorism and sufferings they bring to innocent victims." Now there is much evidence of the origin of terrorism and its supplying sources, including exterior ones. The world community must consolidate against any manifestations of terrorism anywhere without exception, the Indian premier believes. "That is the only way to defeat the evil," the message underlines.
