Washington Jews concerned about anti-Semitic and fascist graffiti

US-based Jews sound the alarm. In Washington's Dupont Circle, one can frequently come across anti-Semitic inscriptions and graffiti, Pravda.Ru reports.

The offensive graffiti and flyers plastered on the walls offend Judaism, but also glorify Islamic faith. The perpetrators have not been found yet.

The appearance of anti-Semitic signs in the city causes discomfort among members of both the Jewish community of Washington and US-based Jews in general, Pravda.Ru says.

The locals say that the images appeared in August 2014, and since then their number began to increase. Most often, the images depict the Jewish star, crossed with Arabic script saying "Allahu Akbar."

In France, Jews face discrimination when looking for work. In addition to standard and specialized requirements, a job ad may contain "possibly not Jewish" optation.
