Moscow is insisting on the return of the Russian pilot and fighter jet Su-27 crashed in Lithuania as soon as possible, Lithuania’s interim charge d’affaires in Russia was told at the Russian Foreign Ministry.
A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry told Itar-Tass on Wednesday the Russian side, “Has expressed serious concern over the dragging out by Vilnius of the solution of the issue of the return to Russia of Major Valery Troyanov and wreckage of the Su-27 plane, as well as over causing bewilderment statements made by Lithuanian officials putting into question the obvious for all circumstances that caused the crash.”
