South Africa has prepared a large package for Palestinians in sum of 400 thousand dollars. South Africans gathered medicine, canned goods, cereals, and other small things. The load was sent by a plane to Israel, from where it should be handed over to the Palestinian Autonomy. Actually, the flight was put off many times, because there was always something to add to the package. As a result, Israel did not permitted the plane's landing, explaining the flight should have been agreed upon by authorities and documents should have been composed in the proper way. Currently, South-African authorities are trying to resolve the problem.
At the same time, this morning, it was reported that, in Israel, bread had become more expensive (by 9 to 13 percent for different kinds of products).
Western information agencies at once started to say talk about the first shortage of bread in Israel in 50 years and about hungry Israelis wandering the streets.
Hunger is out of question, of course. Things are more prosy: the owners of Israeli flour-grinding works decided to earn a few more shekels. Therefore, the price of flour was increased by 13.8 percent. It's not hunger; it's just business.
