Saudi special services’ experts , conducted the operation to release the hostages in the airport of Medina, are to be rewarded by the authorities of the state. The king of Saudi Arabia Fahd, successor to the throne prince Abdalla ben Abdeliaziz and the second vice-PM, Defence and Aviation Minister, prince Sultan ben Abdeliaziz sent telegrams of congratulation to the participants of the storm. In the telegrams they express their gratitude for the courage and the high level of professionalism, manifested by the experts. It is mentioned in the telegrams that all the participants of the storm will be put forward for a decoration and will receive their bonuses. The storm of the plane was carried out March,16 at about 12.00 and took three minutes. According to the statement of Saudi Arabia Internal Ministry, the operation began when it became clear that the negotiations with the criminals reached a deadlock and a real threat to the lives of the hostages arose. Three persons were killed in the course of the operation: stewardess Yulia Fomina, a Turkish passenger and one of the terrorists. Two persons are injured: a stewardess and a hijacker. Can it be regarded as a sign of the great skill of the participants of the operation? Employees of Russian special services estimated the acts if their Arabian colleagues in a very negative way and said that they demonstrated lack of professionalism. In the opinion of participants of such operations it is inadmissible that they have allowed people’s death. It is the sign of their dilettantism. So the participants of the action can by proud with such a high appreciation of their work. And they can even wear the their medals and spend their bonuses as they like... if their conscience let them do it.
