Russian rescue workers at the scene of the recent devastating earthquake that struck India removed an elderly woman of 75 from under a collapsed house alive in the town of Kumwarben on Tuesday, the press service for the Russian Emergency Ministry has said. She is the thirteenth person to have been rescued by Russian specialists in India. Russian rescue workers have also retrieved 33 bodies since arriving in India. They have worked on ruins in Trikamdi, Anjar, and Gandhi Dham, located from 20-30 kilometers from the epicenter of the quake--the town of Bhachau, Interfax reports. Indian authorities are saying that the number of those killed in the earthquake could climb as high as 100,000.
