Ukraine’s National Broadcasting Activities Council has warned the companies Super Nova and Europa Plus Kiev operating on ultra-short radio waves pointing to “violations of the Ukrainian legislation of the national product’s ratio on the air and a failure to observe the license-stipulated conditions concerning broadcasting on the Ukrainian language.” To put it in other words, the say: “Guys, stop playing the fools, forget Russian, switch to the ukrain’ska mova." The Nashe Radio company has also been criticized for not meeting demands of enhancing the proportion Ukrainian-language programmes, Aleksandr Gorobets reports.
